Carson wants the government to monitor and control political speech in schools through the Dept. of Education.

The Dept. of Education needs to be abolished. What he is proposing is Big Brother at its sinister best.

Frankly, I wouldn’t put Carson on a school board, much less as POTUS.

So you would just give the Propaganda arm of the Democrat party unlimited funding to propagandize their world view with no attempt to reign them in? Just write the checks, don't worry how the Democrats are using the money?

It is people like you that give the GOP the name "The stupid party.

Here is a notion. Instead of pathetically flailing around daily for some reason to attack the other candidates, try making a case FOR your candidate for a change.

Forget for a minute that he said that the Department of Education should be involved in this. What if he’d said the IRS should investigate whether these schools deserve to keep their tax-exempt status. Would that make it feel like a better idea? Because that’s what happens to churches ALL. THE. TIME. Someone complains to the IRS that so-and-so said something political at a church, and the IRS promptly investigates (assuming the church is Christian) and then seeks to deny tax-exempt status. But public schools shouldn’t be subject to the same rules?

I like how he is also proposing to increase spending, because there is no way they would cut from somewhere else in the department to fund their thought control.
