Maybe the Hiltons want the stadium land then. Or, someone does.
It was my understanding Hilton named the team the Chargers because he was coming out with a new credit card called “Carte Blanche”. He thought the name chargers would help promote the use of his new card. In fact I had the card for a while in the early 60’s.
