All our guys come from shelters.
Oh sweet kitten. Oh dear child, bless you both.
I dated a man when I wa 26 for a few months. On paper, he was Mr.Right. Ivy educated, great job, loved his family. All good. One night he was sitting on my couch, in my apt. it was a Sunday, and we were watching some football game. My cat went over to him looking for some affection, and it must have been during a play or something. All I know is out comes language that would make a sailor blush, and kitty goes flying across the room because he kicked it.
I broke up with him that night. No one hurts my kitty, and if he hurts a kitty, how do I know he won’t hurt me?.
Little girls mother needs to leave boyfriend pronto. It’s better to be alone then to be hit. I’d rather be single and safe and have a kitteh. Especially if she’s a mom. She needs to think of her daughter.
Oh I wrote my answer before. I read anyone else’s replies.
I’m so sorry someone else knew someone like my ex bf. I guess that behavior has happened before. I was going to say slightly common, but I don’t know if it’s the right word.
All I know is it’s sad how some people treat others and animals. It’s almost 3 am and now I’m crying for the kitten and the small child. I won’t be sleeping til dawn.
...only prob is, they don’t generally *teach* penmanship/cursive in PS anymore...if my GD is any indication. [She attends one of the most highly regarded PS systems in the state.]
I think it *went out* with they re-introduced/emphasized *peer teaching*. [puke]
Maybe some left-coast reporter will ....since no one in Seattle seems at all interested in hilLIEry’s emails and investigating that.
It may take a while.
Awwww. I’ll take him. Orange & white cats are special.
I commend you...all our cats were strays of one sort or another.
Living on a farm ...people see a *barn* and think it’s a great place to dump a unwanted cat/or kittens ....and the owner will be delighted at having a *mouser*.
If that child is witnessing a mother being abused...I can’t imagine the daily terror in her little life.
Did you see this thread that involved a orange & white cat?

This cat saved a suicidal man's life!
PLM picked up on it...[too funny!]
I was going to *let it go*
I met a kid while visiting uncle in a psych ward.
Started talking to him. He told me what he had done to a cat to be in there.
wow.
and yet he felt sympathy/empathy for my uncle, who was having some major issues.
maybe the meds kicked in.
this was before I got sick and while in the hospital GF got me cat for company. he’s my best bud.
might not be so understanding now.
God, mental illness sucks.
The last three thousand,I wouldn’t exactly describe as replies.
Well not in the conventional sense of the word. :)
Me neither.
Strange, I’d adopt both child and kitten if I could.
I wish they both would have a good life.
This would have been 1968 and we were taught cursive habitually and penmanship was part of our report card grades until middle school.
Ugh.

You have a BIG heart!
Bless you for your kindness.
I should hastily add....my battles with penmanship go back to the days of inkwells! You don't know what you missed. ;)
We have an orange (and white if you count tip of tail and couple other areas)tabby and he’s the sweetest, spunkiest cat you could imagine. Maybe they are special:)
A practical impossibility.
DRINK! >;)
