SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
A tiny kitten has been rescued from a Seattle alleyway after being left in a box along with a heartbreaking note.
The Daily Mail reports that Rachel Bjork was walking her dog when they came upon the box. She opened it up and found a scared orange and white kitten inside. Written on the flap of the box in a child's handwriting was a note that read: 'My mommys boyfriend is mean to me. Desperet for loving home.[sic]'
The nearly 2 month old kitten was taken to the vet and then to the MEOW cat rescue in Kirkland. Although it was on the thin side, the little furball appears to be healthy.

If the notewriter was a child, she should be commended for her spunk.
Kitteh will find a new home very soon.Too cute!
We got a wonderful cat in a similar situation. One of my daughter’s friends in high school had a boyfriend that threw the cat against the wall. The next day the cat was ours. The friend was far too young for such a relationship and was, herself, scared by it. Where were her parents? I don’t know but abusive relationships are common and destructive.
I grew up in the Boonies, but not too far from Winston-Salem. About once a year we would find a family of kittens abandoned in our front yard. My Mom was an old Softy, so we’d always take ‘em in. But they usually died. If they don’t get a Vet’s care early on then they generally don’t do too well.
Brilliant false flag PR. Ask a youngster what they think of “animal rights,” then ask them about “choice.” The internet goes wild for a little pussy but nobody cares about the babies in the dumpster. Can you imagine if the disgusting dead babies... Were cute little dead kittens?
Perhaps someone had a chance to throw him up against the wall at a later date.
Possibly in the prison shower.
It’s time to drink.........a-l-r-e-a-d-y?
That writing, especially the whirly mommy part, looks more like a young woman’s handwriting than a kid’s.
Perhaps the child is unable to *save* herself....but felt the need to do something that was under her control.
I’ve become so cynical....something that pops up is that this is all a clever ruse.....what if the finder wrote the note, and made-up the scenario, b/c *she* had a kitten to get rid of? Stranger stuff has happened ...stuff we’ve fallen for, with bogus internet stories. [Sorry to be so cynical]
Shoulda left a note on the boyfriend and kept the kitten.
I got green tea. :)
And I hope the child [if that is true] finds a safe home.
It’ll turn out to be some white Christian bitter clinger terrorizing that kitten.
So early on, in the thread! LOL
Are you all teasing me? I’m serious! You better watch out: these aren’t cuff-links, they’re curb-feelers!
