That reminded me. Many years ago a Switchman was removing inter-machine trunks from service for maintenance and discovered the last call on the T-span had a "976" call in progress. He put it over to monitor jacks and recorded it on the cassette recorder. He just so happen to have his daughter's Teddy Ruxpin bear there at work (now you know how long ago it was). He put the cassette in the bear and the result had everyone on the midnight shift rolling on the floor for a good hour! Guys kept coming in the Switch Control room from the other departments and it would start over again! Oh well, we used anything to stay awake on the mid-shift. Nobody still thought all telephone calls were private did they?
Couldn’t be any worse than the sex scenes on some cable TV programs. I DVR everything so I can fast-forward through the commercials and the sex scenes...especially the gay ones. Make you want to puke.
