Why Not More US Attacks?
self

Posted on 10/15/2015 11:32:05 AM PDT by ChinaGotTheGoodsOnClinton

Considering what we all know has happened to the US posture towards terrorism under the current regime, the question becomes why haven’t there been more larger and organized attacks in the US the past couple of years?

I have my theories but I was wondering what my fellow FREEPERS thought about the topic.

To set up infrastructure for when the terrorist in chief is out of the white hut.

Enemy strategists must be informing their leaders that the US election is an inflection point: the US position could not possibly get any weaker than on Election Day 2016, after 8 years of BO. If they have any inclination to attack us within the next 8 years, we will be at our very lowest (militarily and strategically) on the last day of the BO administration. Attacking during the transition would be prime time. It’s only more difficult and risky after that.

Until the inflection point, we get weaker and weaker, so why rush it?

If by some horrible stroke of fate another ‘rat wins the election, they can always shelve their plans for another 4 years and reevaluate in 2020.

What are your ideas?

I’d say Homeland is doing a fine job of getting those homegrown terrorists.

Like a frog in the pot, we are being “attacked” from the inside out.

Osama bin Laden was for the large scale attacks which take time, money and a lot of people in the know with the planning and preparations.

The more time, money, and people involved in the planning and preparations the more time there is for the intelligence agencies to pick up on the attack and stop it.

Also OBL made it clear in a doc recovered in Afghanistan, 90% of the preparation for the battle(attack) is the news.

The terrorist don’t have the ability to orchestrate the news for the attacks only people in this country can do that.

With the smaller scale attacks you can make it appear as if the terrorist are picking up on what is in the news and “spontaneously” planning the attack based on what is in the news instead of the news being orchestrated for the attacks.

Only a few people in this country have the ability to orchestrate the news on demand so it’s easy to know who is collaborating with the terrorist orchestrating the news for the attacks.

The DOJ hasn't been able to find a large enough group of 'bitter clingers' to really bring out all their toys.

BO’s telling his homies to stand down until he has done enough to suppress home grown extremists — aka US.

Beats me.

I figure all our enemies should be going into high gear right about now: weak/dissonant POTUS improves odds of success & survival, just over a year to make stuff happen & run its course before much stronger & focused POTUS takes power. Were they all to at least coordinate the dates of their moves (otherwise taking no interest in each other) they could seriously overwhelm our resources & will.

It does appear that there are some adults in charge. The Saudis, the Brotherhood, CAIR, whatever. And they think, correctly, that the process of Islam taking over America using our media, our government, and our tax dollars is going just fine and more terrorist attacks would slow the process.

Always seemed to me that’s what happened on 9 11. Prior to which they fought tooth and nail to get gore the puppet into the WH gore who faded out of the Clinton circle so fast

I should read the late Chris hitchens book laying 911 at the feet of the Clinton’s

Does the 2nd Amendment act as a deterrent? Probably not to a suicide bomber.

The fact that “moderate” US muslims didn’t go into the streets to protest 9/11 indicates the vulnerability is there. And the open borders beg to be infiltrated. So, you’re right. It’s amazing we’re not rubble-deep in an Islamic war.

Islam is about obtaining loot and women by getting on the bandwagon of an all-conquering army. Without the spoils of war and the easy victories, it’s hard to get suckers to join the army. And only suckers, retards or the terminally-depressed get involved in one way missions. Most want to be alive to enjoy the spoils of victory, which is why Muslims number in the billions, whereas suicide bombers number in the tens of thousands.

Why now? As long as they have a man in the Whitehut they can just lay low and prepare for later. No way they can do as much damage as Obama is doing.

“Attacking during the transition would be prime time.”

I disagree. Attacking then would guarantee the next administration would be forced to pursue them relentlessly for at least the next 4, and probably the next 8 years.

Al Qaeda made the mistake of continuing to act like Clinton was around once Dubya took over, and they learned the difference the hard way. Before that, the Iranians were smart enough to know that Reagan couldn’t be treated like Carter. I guess we’ll see whether ISIS is as smart as the Iranians or as stupid as Al Qaeda.
