Im in the movie; what are you going to do about it?
John Boyega, the black British actor who was cast in a lead role in the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, has already responded to racist fans of the the franchise. When a trailer of the movie was released late last year, they were grumpy that a black man, Boyega, was playing a Stormtrooper.
"Get used to it," Boyega said in an Instagram post about the criticism.
Fast-track nearly one year later, and Boyega is still clapping back at his haters with that same tone. In an interview with V Magazine, he's basically advising racists that they're going to have to swallow their racism while watching this film, and upcoming movies in general, since the arc of film casting is moving toward diversity. He thinks that all of this racist negativity is therefore "unnecessary."
"I'm in the movie; what are you going to do about it? You either enjoy it or you don't," Boyega said.

what I need to know is does he speak Amos N’ Andy-Bonix in the movie?
There's a third option, we can ignore it and you.
NO I’m sure he doesn’t and that anyone would think a black man playing a stormtrooper makes one whit difference is stupid.
Like he said I’m in the movie deal with it.
“”I’m in the movie; what are you going to do about it? You either enjoy it or you don’t,” Boyega said.”
Or,you cannot go see it.
Seems simple to me.
.
I don’t get it, Lando Calrissan was black.
BUT, Lando served an important role in the story, they needed a balck guy but got him into more than a token role. The screenwriters did a great job with that.
It remaims to be seen what this role is, he may end up being the Jar Jar of the sequel trilogy.
Oh..... that an unfortunate realization.
Wasn’t Darth Vader black in the original trilogy?
Someone is angry that a black man is playing a villain in a movie? And a black man is angry because someone is angry that a black man is playing a villain in a movie?
Apparently life is much more of a challenge to some than the rest of us...
Sounds contrived
Reminds me of the Black “sperm cell” in Everything you wanted to know about sex but were afraid to ask. Except of course that Storm Troopers are Clones. Who is he a Clone of? Dr. Funkenstein?
....hs voice certainly was...
James Earl Jones being the actor who did the Darth voice
Yassuh Arafat by the looks of his photo...

“Who is he a Clone of? Dr. Funkenstein?”
LOL
So this guy is BLACK. So what?? He is merely another human being among many others. As far as so-called “diversity” is concerned, try to remember back to the Cantina scenes in Mos Eisley. There was true diversity for you. more varying life forms than you could count.
All through the Star Wars films, NON-human were very often the heroes, heroines, stars and central characters as well as villans, and we rooted for them or sneered at them.
Goodness me, a person with a BLACK skin. We’ve had white, blue, green, multi-hued, fish scales, and fur, so all of a sudden this must be a big deal.
I thought the stormtroopers were clones. Does this mean they’re all black?
How would one know a Star Trooper is black? They all have that head-to-toe, white, body armor and helmets.
you mean “d-bonics”?
Is hating on black actors still a thing?
I will tell you what: If the movie sucks, they will hate you. If the movie doesn’t suck, no one has a problem.
How did talk about a trooper that wasnt a clone get interpreted into something racist?
