Number One With A Bullet

The USA has, by far, the highest per capita gun ownership in the world. Progressives will tell you that this is what makes America the Murder Capitol of Planet Earth. But we're not, and in this devastatingly effective Firewall, Bill Whittle shows why the center of Gun Nut Nation is in fact one of the safest places in the world.

I don’t have stats in front of me, but have heard, that if we back out all the youth gang and other black in black shootings, that America’s rate of gun violence would be less than many other countries.

I was at Cabelas last night, looking at the Ruger LCR. Sales guy told me they had been swamped the day after IL Douche made his little speech. Said guns had been flying out of the store all weekend.

No doubt about it.

I stopped buying guns years ago.

Can’t afford food for the “kids” already at home if I keep bringing in new “kids”.

Well, when there’s a certain small percentage of the population committing the majority of all crimes then it’s time to look at other prevention measures. It’s certainly not caused by the amount of guns. It caused by the amount of criminally minded individuals.

I went in to my local Cabelas Saturday because I got a flyer about 55 gr soft point .223 ammo. I got there at 11am. They’d been cleaned out.

what makes America the Murder Capitol of Planet Earth.

No matter how big that building is, it is tiny and inconsequential in the larger scheme of things.

I read something similar a while back. Can’t find it at this moment.

He basically does that. He just doesn’t mention race. He points out the murder rates in Democrat and coincidentally heavily black and gang-infested cities.

According to the video we are #111, even with all the gang violence. Take that away and we probably are better than even France.

I lived in Germany for about 19 yrs. I can tell you that in a lot of European countries not all violent crime is reported (at least in the news). I don’t know if that would effect the tallies of murder rates for countries but it would not surprise me if it did.

Let’s start naming gun free zones the way we name sports facilities. “Welcome to the ‘Benghazi’ Hillary Clinton Gun Free Zone, where every American is treated like an ambassador.”

I have also lived in Europe and am in fact married to a Swiss woman. I have seen first-hand, in Germany and France and Switzerland, how cities are transformed after dark to very dangerous places. I have seen this in Paris, where well-known tourist destinations become havens for all kinds of vice after dark. I have been in German train stations at night, when gangs ran wild with no police in sight. And even in genteel Switzerland the cities become dangerous after dark, and the police refuse to help. I have seen this first-hand. All very much different than in America. You have to experience it to believe it.

For an example. one time my family and I were out at night in a medium-size city in Switzerland, when we came across a person in obvious distress, lying on the ground. Several people were standing around. My Swiss wife went to call for help, but what was she told? The police immediately questioned her last name, which was not typically Swiss. “Who are you and why are you calling?” It was in a questionable area of town, and they had no interest in responding to a call for help. We got out of there and don’t know if an ambulance ever arrived. How different than in America!

I have also been in Place de Republique in Paris, a huge tourist site, after dark, when it is hideously transformed into a repository for every kind of vice. Utterly shocked, I got out of there as fast as I could. Why were the police so impotent that they were unable to guarantee the safety of this major tourist destination after dark? To me, is speaks of something very disturbing about the European sense of morality.
