Competing with NFL's Sunday Night Football, which drew in 23 million viewers, the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards captivated just 11.9 million viewers - this is down four million viewers from last year's telecast, according to Variety.com

To quote a tv character last season, “meh”
Who is Emmy and why would anybody at all watch her or it instead of football?
lol. You’re gonna be shocked. There’s was a liberal host!
Who is Emmy ...
I believe it is a group made up of mostly clueless Obama loving clowns.
“I’ve got to say, sure the Emmy’s seem boring, ... Let’s see, what else?”
I watched the first fifteen minutes of it.
The host wasn’t funny, the audience didn’t laugh,
and I’ve never seen most of the shows that were
nominated. Some categories had eight nominees!
Boring, boring, boring.
Just like prime time TV.
Maybe hollywierd is getting the message.
I heard that the opening monologue took a shot at Trump as being racist. That would have been a fast click for me.
3 more years and the Emmys will be down to zero viewers. Bwahahahahaha !!
Since Trump is not a racist, I did not hear the people in the Hollyweird community, the media or the President swiftly denounce and correct Samberg & Co. on that subject.
Translation: it was a love fest for entertainment industry libs who produce shows that few in flyover land bother to watch. We’re voting with our remotes. The expansion of viewing choices is part of the explanation, but millions of former viewer have simply tired of wasting times on radical leftism disguised as entertainment.
Good television has revealed how utterly vacuous and boring awards shows are.
I can pretty much sum up all of the speeches at the Emmys...
“Republicans are so stupid” *audience applause*
“I hate Republicans” *audience applause*
“Republicans are so stupid.” *audience applause*
Highly improbable.
No point in my watching. . .I gave up cable years ago and never waste my time watching television. I’m old enough to remember when they “sold” us cable because we wouldn’t have to watch commercials if we paid for the channels. Now there are so many commericals on cable that it can’t qualify as anything but “noise pollution”. I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only one.
I think the last Emmy awards I watched was in the 1990s.
And since I’ve dropped tv completely, I’ll never see one again.
The thought of sitting through a modern-day Emmy Awards ceremony is about as unappetizing as anything I could think of. Hate the self-congratulatory celebs, hate their shows, hate their lefty culture. They are about as foreign and as antagonistic towards my tastes and my worldview as any third-world Muslim goat-humpers.
From what I hear, the show was a strange combination of being both boring and vulgar at once.
