It's hard to imagine many films that can manage to be both inspiring and heart-breaking, but TFS delivers both, in spades. 7.75/10.

For anyone interested. [Warning]:this narrative is somewhat long and poorly formatted, but it is a true firsthand account of what it was like aboard the USS Juneau on that fateful night November 12th, 1942.

I'm proud to say, the narrator is my amazing hero, Uncle Joe Hartney.

Such a wonderful movie!

I showed it to my Grandson, who was only 5 at the time, one night while babysitting, and he was riveted :)

This, and Captains Courageous!

I swear that movie was shown every rainy Saturday for three years when I was 8-to-10 years old.

This has been my favorite movie of all times since I was 10 years old. I particularly enjoyed the depiction of their childhood. Every week I would check th TV Guide to see if it was on. God Bless the Fighting Sullivans.

The Oldest Sullivan survived the blast, lived for 3 or 4 days

the documentary LEFT TO DIE told the story, I think it was George who lived through the blast
