This Ted Cruz Booster Is 13, Black, And Just Shredded Obama On Clock Kid

This week, a 13-year-old kid named Coreco JaQuan Pearson sat down in front of a camera in the kitchen of his home in Grovetown, Ga. CJ had a lot on his mind: the 14-year-old Muslim student invited to the White House after he was wrongly arrested for building a clock thought to be a bomb; the young woman allegedly shot by an undocumented immigrant in San Francisco; the four Marines gunned down in Chattanooga over the summer; the Black Lives Matter movement.

President Obama, CJ feared, didn’t have his White House in order. It was a lot to distill into a short message — one that would catch fire among CJ’s 35,000 Twitter followers and large YouTube audience. But CJ was determined to make this quick — and needed little more than two minutes.

“Mr. President,” he began, speaking with a Southern twang. “When Kate Steinle was gunned down by an illegal immigrant, you didn’t do anything. You didn’t even call the family. You didn’t invite them to the White House. Is that okay? I don’t think so, Mr. President.”

“When cops are being gunned down, you don’t invite their family to the White House,” he said. “You never did.”

“When a Muslim kid builds a clock?” CJ said. “Well, come on by. What is this world that you are living in?”

He pointed out that it took Obama longer to lower the White House flags to half-staff than it did to light 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. with rainbow colors after the Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriage.

My US History class (11th graders, VERY ethnically diverse group) talked about this yesterday, and the female black students thought it would have been foolish NOT to look into the terrorism angle. We were discussing the Bill of Rights (for Constitution Day), and I told them that students (while in a school building) were not as protected by the 4th Amendment as an adult outside of a school would be. They all agreed that the kid seemed suspicious, regardless of his ethnicity. Most of the white kids seemed offended that a Muslim was profiled, but not the minority kids, who were glad the school was on its toes to prevent violence.

Then, one of the white boys—who is infamous for being a dope smoker—broke in and said if it had been him, he would have been arrested, and he wouldn’t have been invited to the White House. They all laughed and agreed Obama went overboard.

Very often, I think people on FR get racially ugly about blacks, which annoys me, because I teach so many black kids who are smart as tacks. I only hope that they can rise above the generational democrat voting and think for themselves. Last year, I had a black boy who was always going on about the need for the 2nd Amendment, like he was a Freeper. He told me his dad was always being called an Uncle Tom, so I reminded him that Uncle Tom was the slave that tried to help the other slaves learn to read. There IS hope for the next generation. I could provide anecdotal examples all night of minority kids who are as true blue America loving as the best of us. Of course, I teach close to a large Army base, and I know that has a lot to do with it. Lots of military kids with their heads screwed on straight!
