EMP versus AGW - Is There a National Death Wish? (AGW = Global Warming)
American Thinker ^ | 9/18/15 | Norman Rogers

EMP or ElectroMagnetic Pulse is a disturbance that affects and sometimes destroys electrical and electronic devices.

SNIP

Much is uncertain about an EMP attack. It might not be as bad as the worst case. It might turn out that our infrastructure is fairly resistant. We don’t know a lot because not enough testing has been done. We do know that relatively minor efforts at hardening could make a huge difference in national survival. Yet nothing is being done.

SNIP

For some reason best explained by psychiatrists, we are spending vast sums, potentially trillions, to reduce CO2 emissions in order to protect ourselves from Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW). Besides the fact that AGW is supported by the worst sort of junk science, even if you believe the junk science, reducing U.S. CO2 emissions will have practically no effect because CO2 emissions and growth in CO2 emissions is concentrated in Asia. To compound the craziness, vast sums are being spent on windmills and solar electricity,

What is the threat poised by the imaginary global warming? According to the promoters, in 100 years it will be slightly warmer.

This is a very interesting article, there is much more info at the site, I SNIPED enough I think for you to get the idea, as per usual our gov't is spending a whole lot of money on a whole lot of foolishness and ignoring real threats.

This is what I don't get about liberal democrat communists and their Rino minions, don't they know they will be just as adversely effected as those who are not communists.

'For some reason best explained by psychiatrists'

The reason is best explained by economists and/or prosecutors.

If we spent the money to protect against an EMP (Manmade or otherwise) that we spent on Global warming we could take a “Carrington Event” every 10 years with no major disruptions...

The fact that CNN brought up AGW ahead of, say middle class income decline, is beyond me.

I wish I could have written the response for the candidates.

Any action on AGW on our part would be a gesture. A self induced handicap in global competition.

Open borders, multiple languages and unilateral AGW action is a national death wish.

Neither is an issue but both sides are convinced they are.

I agree that EMP is a more serious problem than AGW. However, we have to be careful. In Colorado, the left and the military guys have gotten together and have an anti-EMP initiative. Guess what it includes—massive green energy mandates. Somehow, that’s supposed to fix EMP.
