So, is it Blunt or Blunts?

Either way, I have no idea who she is.

Probably why she has made herself a story.

Her queen used to decrapitate her subjects for false swearing.
I’m thinking maybe we should suspend our law against cruel and unusual punishment by decrapitating this odd looking woman.

this was really dumb of her, even if she was just joking. i know in the crowds she runs in that it’s taken for granted that everyone hates the USA and is so much smarter than every “dumb, racist, sexist, homophobic” republican... but we republicans buy movie tickets and DVDs too. lots of them in fact. insulting the very same people you’re relying on to come see your new movie and keep your career going is not very smart.

it’s a shame too. she was in Edge of Tomorrow and Looper, two of the better sci-fi movies of the past few years. she’s married to that guy from The Office (who had the crush on the receptionist) and he’s been in some movies with George Clooney, so i’m guessing she’s married into a pretty outspoken little clique of libtards and never hears any opposing views expressed other than the democRAT talking points.

I like Emily Blunt.

Besides, she’s no worse than a lot of Hollywood libs.

Tempest in a tea pot.

Eh.

I had to look up this actress, but maybe she should go back to Britain where she would be happier with an anti-military, openly socialist, radical-leftist prime minister.

Come to think of it, that describes Obama.

I don’t consider this a “Dixie Chick.” Because she said he statements to a U.S. media source. She didn’t say them in a concert to try to play the local audience behind out backs. So, it may now have been a smart thing to say, and she can take all the criticism she gets. But she wasn’t doing it behind people’s backs. Completely different thing.

Eh, she's cute enough, for a British girl. As for her opinion, I don't have very high expectations for Hollywood types, especially those of the European persuasion. Shame she got citizenship, though. As I don't ever pay for movies, cable, or any other form of leftist brainwashing, I don't have to worry about supporting the likes of her anyway.

Reminds me of German-born Diane Kruger.

When Kruger became a USA citizen she handed out squirt guns at the after-ceremony party because “Americans love their guns.”

Then, about a year later, she said she would live in Paris year round if she did not have to work.

No clue who she is, but I suggest she go back from whence she came and as we say here in the South, “don’t let the screen door hit you as you go.”

“I became an American citizen recently, and that night, we watched the Republican debate, and I thought, ‘This was a terrible mistake. What have I done?’” she recently told the Hollywood Reporter.

Reverse the terrible mistake. Give up your US citizenship and get lost.

Never heard of her before this thread, but now that I have, I look forward to cheerfully ignoring her work until I forget ever reading her name.

I’d say the bigger issue is her admitting she didn’t mean what she said as part of her citizenship oath. And, I’m not sure why she would call that “typically American” and it isn’t clear if she was talking about her lie or the oath itself (which, obviously, would be ‘typically American’). Sadly and perversely, it seems at least some (or perhaps many?) people are only becoming citizens as a matter of some convenience, and not because they really want to be Americans.

*yawn* There is no adjective in the English language to describe how little I care about this useless "star." Maybe she can open the gates up on her estate and let some illegals camp on here lawn.
