With Everyone Focused On Presidential Politics – We Quietly Slip Past ObamaCare Stage 6....
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | Sep 14, 2015 | Sundance

The Democrat and Republican politicans are certainly providing us with a bounty of shiny things to keep us occupied. Meanwhile, perhaps it’s prudent to note we are entering the final stages of ObamaCare’s intended structure, the creation of “single-payer” solutions.

Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Nancy Pelosi

Back in campaign season 2012 through the following October 2013, we held the opinion that removal of ObamaCare was actually a reasonable expectation. It was not until we discovered the U.S. Chamber of Commerce President, Tom Donohue, paying Mitch McConnell to retain ObamaCare that we realized how severely our belief was misguided.

As soon as we accepted this reality we were able to identify what was coming, why the postponements and delays, and ultimately what the end result was going to look like.

With a re-evaluated understanding, the nine stages of ObamaCare took on new meaning.

We are all currently distracted by so many things political; however, consider this a head’s up as we are about to move from ObamaCare Outrage Stage #6 to Stage #7…. The pain is soon to appear, and become an even bigger crisis.

Gruber, Sunstein, 0bama and Congress that voted for this are all well-known. If this works out as predicted, they may find the stupid masses at their front doors with pitch forks and ropes, ready to impose some healthcare of their own.

Greg Gutfeld of The Five voiced a little frustration today as he “teased” an upcoming segment with (paraphrasing here), “Russian military is landing in Syria. More after the break. Just kidding, more on Trump coming up.”

And that was the last mention of Russia in the program.

We dumped health care insurance on Jan 1 2014. I cannot emphasize enough how much it simplified our lives. Seriously.

People have no idea how big the discounts are when you pay for your own health care. I mean 50-75% and more.

Do you have to pay the penalty for not having insurance? I know it starts out low, but ramps up and can always ge changed to massive increase to punish those who do not worship .gov.

They can only get it from your refund. I never get a refund.

I agree. I have not had insurance since 2003 when I lost my job. I have a full time job now that offers insurance but it’s cheaper and easier without having insurance. I prefer to pay the tax/penalty/fine (whatever they want to call it).

You’re braver than me. I’m paying the fine/tax/penalty and I don’t get refunds either.

I recently pd cash to one of our Catholic hospitals for a 5 hr procedure. $4200. If it had been an insurance billing it would have been10 times that. I paid the doctor separately but the $4200 included pre op, the operating room, and post op care. I think the anesthesiologist and surgery helpers were also included in the $4200. I thought it was a decent price.

My wife’s best friend’s husband (super healthy physical fitness nut) stopped by the Urgent Care last week for kidney stone or something. 12 hours later - quad bypass. Still in ICU. He and she are glad he had health insurance. Tab would easily be in $350,000+ range with the ICU.

Someone here said it will be deducted from your SS when you qualify for it.

How much do they discount a $250,000 heart bypass?

Should add they needed to use leg veins (arteries?) instead of stents which caused much of the complication.

I realize the risks. We all must do what we have to do to survive. Hope the best for your wife’s best friend’s husband.

To quote Paul, “to live is Christ and to die is gain.”

The Lord will take me in his time, with or without HC insurance.

Same here. I do have major medical with a $5000 deductible, but we pay cash for everything else.
