I recently committed automotive heresy for a car guy: I bought a Toyota Prius.

Just sayin'.
Bada boom, boom
Where do you put all your guns and supplies?
There is a lot of cubby holes and places to put stuff.
That said, I don’t know what I would do for crossing into Canada?
I sweat bullets , when we drove to Alaska.
The car in front of us they pulled the seats and more...
They are good cars.
Battery issues only in states with snow.
Cheaper to replace the batteries now, though the discarded batteries are worse pollution than gas engines ever were.
I just got rid of an Avalon Limited which has had unexpected electrical problems in it’s lifetime.
I enjoy a Lexus LS 460 which is basically an upgraded Toyota and we have a Honda Van for travel with luggage for more distant trips from the LA area to Vegas and such.
The 6 year old can NOT eat in the Lexus though. LOL
My other two cars got trashed by eating in the cars.
I don’t like eating in cars.
I had to brake hard a few days ago on my motorcycle
A prius turned right into my lane
and just creeped along
In a 50 MPH zone,
Of course, I was going a little faster
than 50 at the time...
LOL!
Algores kid got busted doing 104 mph in a prius years aback.
Turn in your man card.....
Nice. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the wagon.
The Mrs is angry with me now because a couple years ago I declared I will not leave this country ever gain and she wants to go to Europe next year. If I cannot carry. I do not go.
“Before my wife would finalize it”
Lol, WHAAAAT? You need your wife’s permission to buy a car?
WTF!
My guess is they cover those battery issues under warranty for a few years.
Trucks are fine for truck people. For a good long drive across the country I’ll take an proper automobile. The more it is like a la-z-boy in the loving room the better. Do the Ford trucks still have a front straight bench as an option, or do they stick you with a giant center console on the floor like all the new cars do?
Some years back I swapped out an F-150 for a high end Chevy.
Both company rides, so no cost.
I could not find a position or adjustment to make it comfortable! The seat was a back breaker!
The company had a fleet of them, and everyone hated them!
One guy said ‘if you sit sideways it is tolerable’!
I took mine to California and Florida and loved it. I have a bench with fold up middle console.
You can set the display to show gas consumption, and there is a gauge that shows regeneration and output.
If not in the red; no tickets!
DON’T START THINKING ABOUT THE HAZARDOUS WASTE MATERIAL CALLED A BATTERY.
HUGE ENVIRONMENTAL WASTE WHEN THE TIME COMES TO REPLACE IT.
GASOLINE SAVED OFFSET BY BATTERIES COSTING NEARLY $2,000 AND...
DAMAGING THE ENVIRONMENT MORE THAN THE GASOLINE NOT BURNED.
Sorry, just sayin’
How many “we’s” are you—and don’t you lose your Prius superiority points if you own a whole fleet of cars?
I’ve noticed a number of single Prius owners who now own an un-environmental two or more cars, because the Prius is only a part-time car.
At least a Prius is not as gay as a Subaru. You got that going for you.
