A recent study that was conducted by the University of Chicago’s Crime Lab has learned that Chicago criminals do not acquire their guns from gun shops, gun shows or the internet.
The study examined and interviewed inmates in Chicago’s Cook County Jail who are either facing current gun charges, or have a background consisting of firearms related convictions.
The study learned that virtually zero criminals have ever used the internet or gun shows, because that method is easily traceable. It’s much safer for a criminal to acquire firearms on the streets where they’re harder to keep track of, and that’s most criminals method of choice.
Furthermore, University of Chicago Crime lab co-director, Harold Pollack, said that criminals “were less concerned about getting caught by the cops than being put in the position of not having a gun to defend themselves and then getting shot.”

Well, this is simple to fix: just outlaw street guns. I’m sure that will end the trade in illegal guns. You know, just like how laws against drugs stopped the drug dealers from smuggling in hundreds of tons of drugs across the border every day.
“Gun control” is only meant for only law-abiding Americans. The commie ‘RATS know that there is nothing they can do about criminals and insane DemocRATS getting gun. This story kinda gave me an eureka moment. Like a light going off in my brain. I think I have come up with a way to curb “gun violence” in Chicargo and other like mannered cites.
Since ‘Chicago criminals do not acquire their guns from gun shops, gun shows or the internet’, all the city counsel has to do is pass a law requiring all stolen and otherwise illegal gun owners must have a background check. Anyone caught with an illegal gun that does not have a paper stating that they had passed a firearm thief background check will be issued a very stern warning.
THAT should take care of the problem. Murder rates will tumble. Or something.
Maybe we should end the sending of drug money back to Mexico. The money should be earmarked as a earnings from wages received from a legitimate employer.
