MOBILE, AL (WALA) -
Donald Trump and the City of Mobile have chosen a local artist to open for the presidential front-runner's pep-rally at Ladd-Peebles Stadium Friday night.
Local musician Ben Jernigan of the Ben Jernigan Band told FOX10 News he got a call Wednesday night from the City of Mobile asking if he would like to be a part of something big.
He agreed, and a few hours later he was told he would be opening for Donald Trump.
Jernigan's band plays roots rock music. He says he has played music since he was young.
