I've installed all the updates but I still can't get Windows to update to Windows 10. Can any of you tech wizards help me?

go there..click on whatever processor you have, either 32 bit or 64 bit..download the program(This is the FINAL version of windows 10) select that you want to install to a different computer, this allows you to make a ISO image of the file so you can use that to upgrade, plus if you want to do a clean install..it will ask you what version of windows 10 you want, if you have windows 8.1 HOME you need to get Windows 10 HOME..if you have pro, you can get PRO, etc etc..once downloaded you can use that ISO image that you burned to upgrade FIRST, you MUST upgrade to Windows 10 first, skip activation, skip putting in your serial #, microsoft will automatically get it once you are fully upgraded..then after your upgraded, you can either keep it the way it is or do a clean install, same installation but you will be free of your previous operating system
W10 is on limited release determined by hardware. Your computer may not be on the list.
Why would you want to? Let others be the guinea pigs, download it when the bugs have been fixed.
My computer told me when it was ready. Dont rush these things. You will spoil the mood.

Guess it will be awhile before I get to upgrade since my hardware is very high ended. Running 12 core i7-5930K (overclock), ASUS Z10PE Motherboard, and 16 gig of DDR4 memory.
first it is opened to the beta users to upgrade to the full version. They are doing it in steps apparently. You are on the waiting list!!

I have been hearing a lot of things about Windows 10 that makes me very reluctant to download it. But in any case whenever something new comes out, I prefer to wait a while and let them work out any bugs. Let someone else be the guinea pig.
