I feel for the guy, War
is Hell, if you've been there.
In a war 40+ years ago I saw how quickly things can go horribly wrong, sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't.
You combat vets here have seen it too.
I'm glad he's talking about it now, it's good therapy.

My son and another Marine manning a roadblock in Ramadi opened fire on civilians driving a white pickup toward them. Badly wounded the civilians. Seven years later it still haunts him son. I pray for this young man. We in Arizona miss our Pat. This young man deserves relief from his horror.

The only friend I lost to Vietnam was killed by a new sentry when coming back from a patrol. I know how hard it was on his parents to not only lose a son but in such a tragic way.
