“I think he’s likely to drop out and endorse Bush.”

That sent shivers up my spine. This could be a set up..

“I’m also wondering about his huge lead in the polls...doesn’t seem possible. “

Look at the other FR posts where he’s leading the polls.

The liberal, far left WAPO which is rigged to lean Dem. Unless you didn;t notice the polls in the past 8 years, WAPO leans Dem heavily. Seriously. That was a red flag in itself.

Well no one knows anything much a year out but I am sure loving the fact that he is making everyone unhinged, especially on the left and the freaking RINOS. He’s certainly worth my time for now because of that fact alone. Cruz and Carson seem to be the only ones that don’t have their panties bunched over him.

He is definitely doing God’s work right now, no question, no debate!

Analyze the following in detail, and you'll see what he's doing. It's a divide-and-conquer scheme for Hillary.

Washington Post-ABC News poll, July 16-19, 2015
http://apps.washingtonpost.com/g/page/politics/washington-post-abc-news-poll-july-16-19-2015/1778/

Q: If Donald Trump wins the Republican nomination for
president would you definitely vote for him in the general election for president in 2016, would you consider voting for him or would you definitely not vote for him?

Definitely would vote for

14

Would consider voting for

20

Definitely would NOT vote for

62

No opinion

This is my impression, based on observation, gut instinct, and wild-assed guessing:

Trump sees himself as a patriot. He’s not a political animal like we are. He’s not a conservative. Any conservatism that he has is only by accident. He is running on instinct and not some grand social and political vision.

But he can see what we do, especially those of us old enough to remember the 1950s and 1960s. The country is going to hell and that trip is on an express train courtesy of Imam Barack Obama and his coven of weirdos, Leftists, and America haters. Trump doesn’t have to be a Free Republic reading activist to see that.

Trump has had closer dealings with politicians of all stripes than most of us will ever have. They have all hit him up for money at one time or another. He’s had the opportunity to take their measure. He’s not likely to be in awe of any of them.

He’s probably brighter than we give him credit for. We see the celebrity clown act and the brash and boastful public persona. But I don’t think that he would be the success that he is in the business world if that’s all there is to him.

A month ago I thought that he was clowning around with ‘running’ simply to get publicity and to enhance his ‘brand’. I thought that this was nothing more than celebrity nonsense. But I now think that he’s serious and that he believes that he can win.

It’s not as far fetched as the entrenched political establishment would have us believe. He’s got enormous name recognition. The public at large isn’t going to pay attention to the flip-flops that mesmerize us here in Freeperville. He will be able to assemble whatever sort of kitchen cabinet that he wants and needs. He won’t be lacking for advice. I doubt that he will let advisors tell him what he should do when it runs against his instincts. One of his instincts seems to be that he and Ted Cruz have a future.

I don’t trust Walker, especially regarding amnesty.

In 2 months he has done more for the victims of illegal aliens and the vets than all the others combined who have been in elected office for years. We are seeing how Trump handles himself in the fires of hell. I still have no idea how the others would handle themselves. None want to get dirty. They are all like the empresses of the palace and Trump is the emperor.

Trump is acting fearless and like he has nothing to lose. That kind of attitude is very, very hard if not impossible to stop. Not that I am comparing Trump to ISIS, but I believe ISIS has gotten so far because they think they have nothing to lose and they have no fear. Look at what they have achieved.

The problem is that all the other candidates are terrified of losing and like a self fulfilling prophecy they will lose. There is no doubt in my mind. That is why I think he is the best candidate to go against Hillary.

She is terrified of losing and is paralyzed to do anything. Trump will lay into her and rip her to pieces by raising issue after issue she simply cannot defend. Whatever she hits Trump with he will come after her mercilessly like ISIS would. The other candidates are simply too PC to make a difference.

If you follow the link to the poll document and scroll to the line referred to, you’ll see “[ITEM]” instead of Trump. Trump’s name is in the table just below that along with the other names. They moved to a new file and format since publishing the article about the poll.

You mean to tell me that Donald Trump did not make his $10 billion by clowning around and by accident? Are you saying it takes brains and lots of talent and a desire to work ceaselessly? Are you saying that Trump’s critics who do not have 1/100th the brains he does and who could never accomplish what he has might be wrong? Imagine that.

I don’t trust Walker either, not as far as I can throw him. And I agree Trump is a very bright guy who has just gotten really good at disarming people through his regular guy act. He does play fair, he drops plenty of hints and hides them well in plain sight.

Trump is running for President. Ya’ll need to take a good hard look at what is. Did he file the necessary paperwork? Disclose his finances? Make his formal announcement? Well, then guess what?

What Trump knows is that no one is too busy for a good deal. In his career I am sure he has turned around many hopeless deals. Let Trump be Trump. It is his to lose. That is what we are hiring him for. To see how he resolves tough problems.

Living by polls gives you Obama and his results and the Republicans and their non results.

I don’t care about Bush, but am surprised that Cruz hadn’t filed his paperwork. Maybe he has his eyes on another position? SCOTUS?

And he doesn't have too kiss anyone’s butt, or make any promises, for campaign financing.

Do you see? 62% polled would drop the vote and let it go to Hillary. It’s also highly likely that some of his few supporters would actively vote for Hillary against Walker.

Walker is the only candidate with a real record for cutting government spending. We don’t want to continue oligarchy by government-employed and pensioned overlords. They’re leading us to default and collapse.

Also, see the following on “entitlements.”
