Their fries and burgers leave a really bad aftertaste.
Like glue or something. It's been years since I ate there.

Sausage burrito has been my favorite breakfast ever since it came out. When I’m in a rush, $1.39 double cheeseburger is hard to beat. Any of there other places you are looking at $4-7 for a burger.

“I’ve noticed more and more coupons going out, the people that do use these....are cutting into the profits of the individual franchise operation. The corporate guys think the coupons are helping....it’s actually the opposite case.”

at least where I live every McD’s receipt can be used to get a buy one get one free quarter pounder with cheese or egg mcmuffin after you do a brief online survey. I ALWAYS use these. i’m willing to pay $2 each for quarter pounders but not $4 each.

Looks like In-N-Out current menu and the menu they’ve had for years..keep it simple, fresh/tasty & fast.

Thanks for that photo - their food tasted way better back then, in my opinion. The fries were made from whole spuds right in front of you. The one we went to had no inside seating, just a few picnic tables and most folks ate in their cars.

At least In-N-Out does that. What a difference.

Yup.

Recently had a 1/4 pounder meal. I had not ordered a 1/4 pounder meal in a long time. They used to be great, but now they are horrible.

The fries sucked and the burger was dry and tasted like cardboard.

Changing the cooking oil and changing the cooking instructions to make sure everything is cooked into leather for liability reasons seems to be the biggest problem.

They also have recently raised the price on some of the menu items by 30-100% in my area.

This makes a McDonalds combo meal price on parity with many sit down restaurants and actually more expensive than their competitors.

All the restaurants seem to be raising prices, probably because they are being hit with the hidden costs of the all of the destructive legislation passed by Obama and the Democrats 2009-2001 time frame starts to filter through the economy

Same here in North Central PA. You are missing two things.

The fat people in cars that are too lazy (or don’t know how) to cook.

Gas industry workers that are away from home.

Yeah, how is huge minimum wages looking for a company in decline? They can’t cut that hourly cost and they will be driven out of business.

There are two MCD’s in driving distance from my home. The closest one is horrible, the food is cold and sometimes even stale. At the nearest one the service is so bad you can't call it fast food, I no longer go to that MCD. Now the other one which is further away has the same food, the same menu, but the food is always hot and fresh. The service is also better and its cleaner, guess which one I go to. The big difference is the managers, one takes pride in their work, and the other one does not.

We used to eat at Macs quite often. Not anymore. Their frys used to be the best. They are now cold and soggy. All over Southern California it is the same; soggy french fries. Instead of redoing their menu they should just fix what they have. Adding new hamburgers will not fix the soggy fries.

I hear you. We had a good KFC near our old house, but the management at the one here near our new home is clearly substandard. It makes all the difference in the world.

You can tell the market they are trying to attract by watching their TV ads the past pipe years.
