Bounce TV, an Atlanta-based African-American network, announced on Tuesday that it would immediately pull reruns of "Cosby," the Bill Cosby sitcom that ran from 1996 to 2000.
At the same time, Centric, a BET-owned network, will be yanking all "Cosby Show" episodes from its schedule beginning on Wednesday "until further notice," according to a company spokesman.

Why? They still show Naked Gun with OJ. In fact, there is a Dragnet episode where they are trying to recruit young black men into law enforcement and one of the interested young men is OJ Simpson.
I guess Cosby is the new Fatty Arbuckle.

Fatty Arbuckle was innocent. Well innocent of the charges anyway, if not eligible for sainthood.
I think if you look closely enough, long enough at any famous person’s life, you will find questionable events.
I’m sorry to see this happening to Cosby. It may have been a preponderance of evidence accumulating for the last fifty years, thus, the collapse was inevitable.

I don’t like where everything is trending. It appears whatever the hot topic is, any given day, people are giving up. I think this is a dangerous trend.
The only people that appear to be giving up are politicians and media executives.
I look at a lot of famous people’s lives, and don’t see many sick, serial rapists types.
Arbuckle was acquitted. I din’t think anyone would stick up for him. How old are you? Just teasing. It seems Arbuckle lived a hard life and, like the people in the Cosby lawsuit, lived life on the edge with a wild crowd where bad things can happen.
Bill Cosby isn’t guilty either, at least not until it is proved in criminal court.
The people in the Cosby lawsuit were not living life on the edge, they were rape victims.
For instance Andrea Constand, operations director of the women’s basketball team at the university where Cosby was on the board.

My brother was his undergraduate host when he was the graduation speaker at his college. He said the same thing. Foul mouthed and crude were the terms he used.

I had never heard of that case. Cosby is indeed the new Fatty Arbuckle.

Yes, they were victims but you miss my point. As someone pointed out earlier, you go to a party with Bill Cosby and High Hefner they are not interested in your personality or your intellect. That does not give celebrities the right to mistreat hangers-on but it is clear that if you hang out with these so called stars, leave your child at a party with Roman Polanski, pal around with Hef, or party with Fatty odds are good things are not going to happen to you.

You didn’t read my post, you are inaccurately describing many of these victims, but especially the one whose court case has triggered these new revelations.
I get the impression that you don’t know much about this at all, that all you have heard about are some of the California girls and a few others.
Quit soft pedaling this serial rapist, who assaulted women from all walks of life in a number of states and cities over 5 decades, and drugged and raped a large number of them.
That would be the Operations Director of the women’s basketball team at the university where Cosby was on the board of directors, who Cosby drugged and raped.
