I could go along with this to a certain extent.
The “goods of the earth” are the resources God provided, where they are.

However, extracting them and making them into something valuable requires effort on the part of someone,
and requiring that effort be “given” is condoning slavery or theft.

I can sympathize... I never have cottoned much to appeals to the public at large by those individuals whose entire lives and existence is replete with extravagant opulence, especially at the expense of the religious masses.
