Donald Trump clearly proved this adage :

When Donald Trump expressed his opinion of illegal Mexican immigration, he proved this adage.

If you want to upset piss off a Conservative, tell him a lie.

If you want to upset piss off a Liberal, tell him a truth.

I had intended to use the words “piss off a liberal” but thought better of it but then I thought again and it seemed more appropriate.

Even if you think of Trump as a New York Republican and despise him/hold him in contempt/don’t take him series (Is he even GOP? Democrat?), like Bloomberg, Rockefeller or Pataki, he’s doing something nobody else but FR was doing: raising real Hell over the shameful thirty year dereliction of duty on the parts of Congress and the executive branch, and over their wide-eyed solution: the “comprehensive immigration reform” ... that was promised in 1986 as an inducement to get President Reagan on board.

The more things change, the more they stay the same: once the smoke-screen goes away, then it was amnesty, now it’s amnesty.

So stand back, lighten up and let The Donald roll—even hold his coat, at least until he loses interest.
President? C’mon. And it’s not like he’s even going to step into Slow Joe Biden’s shoes; I mean, who could fill Joe’s brogans?
Trump is the hammer. He’s driving the Uniparty crazy. Go Trump.

I think he has proven a different adage; “It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.”

What has Trump said that isn't the truth? Please enlighten us.

I think JohnBrowdie may have been referring to himself.

But "upset" still applies ... to RINOs and GOPEs.

As Dennis Prager has noted, "Truth is not a value of the Left" ... to which I add "Although truth may be a value to RINOs and GOPEs, they are fearful when having to consider truth in a political calculation".

So you think that Mexico and Central America are sending their best, brightest and most law abiding? The Dems are looking for a few good men. :-)

Trump is the hammer. He’s driving the Uniparty crazy. Go Trump.

Yes and imagine how many millions of extra viewers the debate will pull in with him on the stage. For many it will be the first time they have heard a conservative message. It will be must see TV.

This is a great opportunity to get our message out irrespective of who one supports.

Then the dems have to follow up with what can only be a boring technocrat night of gibberish. I bet they don't even beat MSNBC numbers.
