Nowadays the media would blame the U.S. for the Hindenburg disaster, saying that withholding helium from the Third Reich led directly to loss of life in the crash.

Airships may well have a place in our future. Not in combat but in moving things quickly to isolated places.

Due, in large part to being filled with helium, which expanded and caused the airship to rise at a catastrophic rate.
