Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) president Richard Cohen responded to the Charleston, South Carolina church shooting by saying that hate groups are on the rise because President Obama is a black man in the White House.
Cohen’s official statement on the June 17 massacre at Charleston’s Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church called the shooting “an obvious hate crime by someone who feels threatened by our country’s changing demographics and the increasing prominence of African Americans in public life.”
But apparently President Obama’s election had something to do with it according to the SPLC, a decidedly leftwing nonprofit legal advocacy group.

The SPLC is big in supporting immigrant justice, LGBTetc rights and other fringe groups.
I agree with their conclusion, but not their string of causation.

Well they are right, but not for the reasons they think. The man is a Hate master. All he does is spew hate. Encourage hate.

Cohen the clown is wrong, but not in the sense he thinks. It is true that there is more hate now, black racist hatred, due to his idols Obummer/Holder/Sharpton, than there ever was before. And yet these hustlers just keep fanning the fires of discord. Then, when the inevitable dog bites man incident happens, they treat it like it happened in a vacuum.
These people are evil.

Does the SPLC ever factor affirmative action into potential causes for “hate crimes”? The legalized discrimination is so blatantly unjust it cries to heaven for vengeance.
They’ve got it all wrong. We knuckle-dragging hate-filled racist conservatives started losing it when Clarence Thomas was appointed to the Supreme Court.
When Condaleeza Rice became Secretary of State that was the final straw.
