Despite the constantly stated claim that Republicans have moved to the extreme right while Democrats have remained a bunch of perfectly reasonable moderates, the fact is that it's the Democratic party that is driving to the ideological corner, as shown by a Gallup report released on Thursday.

They talk about the Charleston shooter as a segregationist but I’ve been hearing a call for it out of the left a lot lately with “Safe places for minorities without whites”.
Lets see, the we spent much of the 20th century fighting communism, and then the democrats nominate and elect twice a Marxist.

That’s exactly why they claim to be “moderate”. Because they change the definition of “normal” and “moderate”.
Most people are sheep. When they are relentlessly assaulted with messages that gay marriage and similar cultural abnormalities are “normal”, they start believing it. (Any lie repeated often enough becomes the truth.)
Most people are oblivious to issues like socialized medicine, nuclear disarmament, higher taxes and deficit spending. By the time they realize there are negative consequences for them, it is too late.
With many of these things, it’s like the frog in the pot of boiling water.
An additional factor is that conservatives have to work for a living and raise their families, so they have limited time and resources for participating in protest marches, etc. The left, with legions living on handouts, has nothing but free time and is always agitating for more freebies. If you’ve ever been to one of their protest marches, you would find that a lot of them were either paid to be there or bussed in from mental institutions and are clueless. Anything for a buck for the lefties. They would march in support of child cannibalism if they got paid for it.
This must also mean that when welfare states in Europe and North America collapse and die like the Soviet Union and East Bloc did, we can yell “We told you so” even louder to them.
Exactly. Ever seen a sign saying “Divided we stand?” Is our national motto “E unum pluribus?”
