It seems that African-American kids are sending out text messages to each other about where to go to mob the swimming pool that is not theirs. It's gated, but they found their way in, they're texting out, "Everybody, come on, join us."
They mob the area, they jump the fence, get aggressive, unruly, having sex all over the place, screaming curse words, and they do this because there's no place for them to go swim. They feel discriminated against. They don't have any swimming pools, so they go and find somebody else's, send out messages to be joined and then people join 'em. So there were mothers with their young children at the pool. These people happen to be paying for the pool, by the way -- ahem, sorry, that's I know insensitive to say. And these mothers call the cops, and so the cops come. Cops arrive.

These kids aren’t going to grow up and be doctors, nurses, cops or engineers or carpenters.
They are going to be criminals.

Your post is well intended and thoughtful but seeing as how I grew up in black environs before they got power and while the Great Society was taking off let me spout for you
All Wilcow level truth
1) black culture was always more problematic than whites just like now with errant daddies and crime and exploitative leaders etc and more illegitimacy etc even before Welfare State circa 1970
2) black out of wedlock rate was around 25% in 1960 and now runs about three times that
3) my segregationist ancestry saw the dysfunctionality of black culture from jump street and grew to fear black rule given they often lived in majority black areas but of course they limited black political power to keep their influence limited but not because they hated them but because they feared them and feared pretty much what has happened since all that unfairness melted away.....the proof is in the pudding ....what they feared from 1866 on is now here....and it’s ugly....I know ...I’m living it
4) but the real kicker is forget blacks and all that problematic guilt and dissolution of families and coarseness and preponderance to violence in communities where the mean IQ is around 80.....and daddies are rare as hens teeth....the real damage from the 1960s is to whites proportionately.....in 1960 white illegitimacy was around 1%....today it’s 20-25 times that

6) this notion that it’s just democrat policies to explain why black communities have issues neglects to take in account rich white democrat locales that generally speaking function....the problem is culture lag and our refusal to see it for what it is in order to stop making naive attempts to ignore the obvious and pissing away cash trying to fix what cash won’t fix

And that is the bleakest truth of all.
The demonizing of the cops, the demonizing of the Jews and the disregard of the private property of the homeowner’s association is the same disregard of the Germans for the property of the Jews when they were taken to the trains. It is all about mob rule.
Our under forties are a disaster. Especially when it comes to voting. They begrudge their parents wealth, but use it, and feel for the plight of the black man, whom they have never lived around. spoiled, a little lazy, and lost.
I drove a cab in black neighborhood. 50 men standing in front of bodega bragging about their prison stints, 15 year old mothers, drug dealers, robbed a number of times, and on and on.
But at least before Johnson, the 75 percent marriage rate for having kids was good. geez.

Haven’t any of you ever known good black families? I know very strict, churchgoing parents who raise their children well.
I grew up and lived in some crime-ridden communities where both “black” and “white” people were drug dealers and criminals with absent fathers and teenaged mothers, as far back as the late 60’s and 70’s when I was a child.
The most dangerous people in the town where I grew up could be found on both sides of the tracks, so to speak, and so could the good people, who unfortunately were few and far between.
Maybe it’s because staten island is so segregated that it’s easy to see the black population is a complete disaster here.
I’ve been told blacks are different in the south. Descent people just living their lives. But not on Staten Island
Narcotics among the white kids out here is an epidemic. That is true.
I saw it when driving a cab. They are disasters.
But the times i was robbed, the times i was hassled, the times i would see 50 healthy young black men drinking in front of bodegas and bragging about their rep, the times I had to hear how bad whitey is, and the times I had to see 15 year olds with kids and much more just left a bad taste in my mouth.’
Of course I had descent black folk in the cab too. Maybe 15 percent.

As a resident of McKinney Texas I can tell you that there are three, (3) public pools on the East side of town for those kids to use.
The West side of town, where they came to have their “party” has NO public pools. Although we have been paying on a bond issues since 2000 to have one built.

And you are correct, few people see or accept the reality. The specific reasons are varied, but all smack of secular humanism.
I heard Rush’s comments and I was very disappointed in his lack of information on this. It wasn’t about a bunch of kids tweeting out to come to this pool because they didn’t have a pool to swim in. It was about two women making money off of exploiting underage girls in a sexual manner which is getting no coverage AT ALL.
Those black kids don’t realize they have created new jobs for a lot of people. Next thing we know there will be ads placed which read, “Wanted, Armed Pool Guards”.
I’ve seen rumors that people were having sex at the pool, but can find nothing to confirm.
If you live in McKinney, Texas, time to get out.
Why on earth do folks always put up exceptions to disprove the rule

Those exceptions you mention were more likely to be the rule pre Great Society
But black culture still had issues many times greater than comparable groups
American Indians were second with alcoholism and unemployment and family issues statistically
Black integration into 21st century western culture is problematic anywhere in the world from Rwanda to Harlem to Kingston to Rios slums
Most groups behind 300 years ago still today lag as a group regardless of colonialism or govt programs
But not all do
Which begs questions none dare confront
