BSO says Fort Lauderdale woman found with 'flakka' in her pocket
A Fort Lauderdale woman called 911 to report that a man from whom she was buying drugs took her money, according to a Broward Sheriff's Office report.
Daneshia Heller, 19, was arrested Tuesday on charges of drug possession and misuse of the emergency 911 system.
ccording to the arrest affidavit, Heller told the arresting deputy that a man named Zakan Allan took her $5 that she was using to buy drugs. Heller said she went to the house to buy marijuana, but he took her money and didn't give her the drugs.
"He got my money, and I want my drugs," Heller told a 911 dispatcher.
As Heller was being taken into custody, a small bag of "flakka" was found in her front pocket, the report said.
She remained in jail Wednesday morning.

those synthetic drugs coming out of China are nothing to mess with. They are a lot with some really bad effects including psychosis that can be readily bought online legally if one so chooses. I’m more open-minded than most on a lot of substances, but there is stuff out there you want to stay way away from. One of the consequences of marijuana being illegal is people who seek to alter their mindset will search for something that won’t show up on a drug test, or they will think because it’s legal to purchase it must be safe, when the reality is it just hasn’t been outlawed yet. Teaching harm reduction and in my opinion, recreational legal amounts of marijuana will keep people from seeking this crazy evil synthetic stuff.

Exactly how is this misuse of 911?
1. She was apparently robbed?
2. If someone called 911 and confessed to killing someone is that also misuse of 911 somehow?

True, though for most it ends there, which can be bad enough. i know quite a few that did neither but did pot ‘cause it was “natural” even though it was sprayed with paraquat and who knows what.

That may be true, but I know a lot of people who found pot was enough and didn’t go on to stronger stuff. I have certainly seen the realities of what heroin and meth use can lead to and despite a strong appetite for marijuana, I have resisted going on to further addiction.
Addiction is really complex. There are many people who are much more comfortable in their own head with a light buzz.
Those people have a hell of a life trying to walk the line.
