The only reason why the pavilion sections is called the “zoo” is because they offer free hotdogs. I’d rather pay twice for an overpriced hotdog and beer in peace, and hear English.

Are the pavilion sections in the outfield, with the funny 'rick-rack' roof, or the upper decks? (Sorry, I've only been to Dodger Stadium 2-3 times, and not recently)

I agree with you about paying more $$ for peace and ENGLISH conversation around me at the ballpark.

Man, it was rowdy up in those upper decks when we last went to Dodger Stadium, about 5 years ago. And coming from Connecticut, it's kind of rare for me to see a Mexican (except in restaurant kitchens in some restaurants in the northeast I guess). It was a complete culture shock to me to see so many Mexicans in one place in the US.

The only time I've been to Mexico was for ONE DAY in "lovely" Tijuana back in 1981. We were visiting friends in San Diego (A USN officer and his wife from CT, they were stationed there). They took us to the place where you could park your car on the US side, and walk over to TJ for the day. TJ was a pretty scary place, as I remember. I have no desire to go back, lol.

The pavilion sections are upper middle to higher decks, on the sides of the stadium. Basically, the players are like ants. And there’s only one reason why it’s popular: unlimited hotdogs and cheap cerveza. It’s part of the ticket.

and you probably were shocked at the DMV where these idiots have the gall to ask which language you want to take the test in. MY GF (who’s canadian like I am) asked for French (as a joke) and they did not offer it.
