Bike lanes in this country are deadly. Calling the roads shoulder a bike lane is as dumb as a box of rocks.
Her hair looks like Medusa’.

Not as dumb as getting drunk and killing a cyclist that has a lawful right to his share of the road.
Drugs - just another cultural poison, no worse than booze, lets have more....
Condolences to the biker’s family but cases like this only reinforce the fact that bicycles and automobiles cannot coexist on the roadways.
Maybe put up K-rails between the 2 and it’s possible, but currently, the animosity is growing against bikers...whole lanes in congested areas taken away by public officials and converted to bike lanes which are hardly, if ever used. All in the name of being “green”...they even use green paint to identify the lanes in my area...
Then the arrogant cyclists that insist on being complete aholes on the road only serves to cause responsible riders being viewed in the same light. A buddy of mine is lucky to be alive after a cager hit him in the early morning hours on a 4 lane road...my buddy had lights on his bike that would make an airplane jealous, they were that bright.
But the cager refused to move over into the LH lane even with no other traffic around and clipped my buddy sending him onto the shoulder. If it weren’t for the fact that one of the bike spokes punctured one of the cager’s tires, he wouldn’t have stopped, even said so.
Nope, it’s off-road for me...I’ll take my chances with Mother Gaia vs. a drunk in a 4,000lbs.+ automobile.

You want to ban all prescription drugs that impair one's ability to drive?
And what about the booze you mentioned - ban that driving-impairing poison too?
Better lock her up. She looks like a flight risk back to Lebanon or who knows what
What’s a “cager”?
Automobile driver...
oh no....I want all intoxicants available over the counter...
It will make the world a better place....

Criminalizing intoxicants has made the world a worse place by enriching criminals while having no demonstrable effect on use.
LOL!
Ya, tell that to the Cartels who now have a much larger market in Colorado.
Use is up and so are CRIMINAL PROFITS.
