Trump said the Republicans are pushing the deal because they dont understand the topic and theyre making a mistake.
Its because you have lobbyists lobbying for this thing, and you have lobbyists representing areas of industry, you have lobbyists representing countries, Trump said.

The voters understand the country is going to hell.
When did Trump read the Trade Bill?
Pro-America reps should vote against it until a job impact study reveals who benefits other than Wall Street political contributors. Pro-World Reps will continue to sell out American industry.
You ask: “When did Trump read the Trade Bill?”
I ask you: When could he have read it? Aren’t major details secret?
Cruz is calling for it to be released to the public. Says it is a standard trade bill like what we have had in the past that have expired.
I don’t believe him.
We need to remove the veil of secrecy over this bill.
If it’s a good bill, WHY is it being hidden so completely?
You’re calling Ted Cruz a liar?
Yet you believe a clown who’s playing you and laughing at you.
Oh, well...
If it’s a “standard trade bill like what we’ve had in the past”, then Trump is right.
Neither party understands that it’s our own trade policies that have caused countless industries to move off-shore.
Kudos to Cruz for wanting it released. No Kudos for supporting it.
Careful there.
I don’t intrude on your Ted Cruz threads. Don’t try to take over a Trump thread, with Ted Cruz propaganda.
I am saying I have concerns, serious concerns, about this mess of a free trade bill.
I do NOT cherish Ted Cruz to tell the truth about this bill, as you apparently do.
I will believe him, if he has something (serious) to back up what he is saying, but I won’t just take his word. I likewise do not see a reason to doubt him flat out. I’m not saying he is a liar, but so far I have seen nothing from him, to make me believe what he says is true without some proof.
In my opinion, Ted Cruz is on the wrong side on this issue.
Donald Trump is standing strong for Americans.
We are 100% on opposite sides of this issue.
Don’t tell me which threads to go to or what to say when I go to them, got that? You called Ted Cruz a liar and you’re damn right I’m going to call you on it, every time. Now do you understand?
Cruz supports free trade, Trump doesn't. Free trade is what has caused the U.S. to de-industrialize and become dependent on foreign countries.
Trump understands this. Neither party does.
I did not call Ted Cruz a liar.
I said, quoting:
“I dont believe him.”
That is vastly different from calling the guy a liar.
I don’t however, know for a fact what he is saying it true, without some additional evidence.
“I dont believe him.”
They guy wants to be the President of the United States of America, he can darn well convince me and millions of potential voters, we should believe him.
I don’t believe him yet.
Sorry, but I don’t.
You’re not helping one tiny bit, I might add.
*snort*
Ah beLEEVE!
Well we’ve heard reports that this trade bill is going to allow more immigration, which if true, makes this NOT a “standard trade bill”.
It’s likely in Cruz’s mind it’s a “standard bill”. While a closer reading might convince others it’s anything but.
Cringing didn’t call Cruz a liar. He said he didn’t believe Cruz. I don’t believe Cruz either, but I don’t think Cruz is intentionally lying. I think he just doesn’t understand what he is supporting. But we won’t know until it’s released.
And even if it is a standard trade bill like in the past, Trump is right by saying we shouldn’t support it.
