I haven’t seen it, but it wouldn’t surprise me. He’s king of the universe and is muslim, jewish, christian, etc. whenever he wants to be, and the peasants will yield. Just sayin’. PissBUH.
Would not be surprising. During this past week, he was a Jew. So it makes sense he’ll convert to Catholicism for the coming week, then it will be evangelical Protestantism down the road, then possibly Buddhism (or was it to be Shinto). Maybe he’s going through the same issues with religion that the Woody Allen character in “Hannah and her Sisters” did.
I would hope that a priest would have the guts to refuse to serve him communion.
It universally known that our president is not Catholic.
But I bet he takes off his shoes every time he enters a mosque out of respect for that tradition.
I can’t imagine the hell that the Vice President is going through. I really don’t care about his politics right now. Having to bury a son is horrid. Burying two children and a wife in one lifetime is total torture. I doubt anything could get to Joe now. I’d feel the same way with the President too. I don’t think some of you understand just how awful it is to lose a child and just because you hate someone doesn’t give you free range to rag on them. I do wonder who the Christians are on this site because on Joe Biden threads with the death of his son there are a ton of jerks.
Condolences to the Biden family may Beau RIP. But , isn’t the news media going a little overboard? You would think a head of state passed.
As a muslim he declares that there is no god but allah, and muhammad is his prophet. Therefore he cannot also be a Christian. You cannot serve 2 masters.
As to his then brazenly taking communion; I would only present 1st Corinthians 11:27 thru 31, whereby I think he put himself out on very thin ice by doing it.
A question for Catholics: why is a pall draped over a casket during a funeral mass?
Father gave him a blessing and made the sign of the Cross on his forehead. His daughter also went up for the blessing.Father said you could come up for Communion or a blessing. If a blessing to fold you hands on your chest.
Why not? He’s the most Catholic President ever.
I turned it off and switched to a "Walker, Texas Ranger" marathon.
Who doesn't like Chuck Norris?
My prayers go out to the Biden family. It is a terrible thing to have to bury a child.
I thought the same thing about it being 0 but when he turned to leave, I seen it wasn’t him.
Lord I’m right about my observation.
Did Obwana at least have the decency to remove his Taqiyah when he was carried into the church?
OK, I haven’t read all the comments but I’ll tell you my recent experience. I’m Jewish and I recently attended a Catholic funeral. The priest invited all to accept communion but said that non-Catholics could cross our arms in front of our chest and then simply receive a blessing. I highly respect the priest and happily went up to him to receive a blessing (that in no way offended Jewish sensibilities). Maybe the same thing happened here.
I’m surprised that Joe went up to receive it.
Did the wafer ignite and give off sulphur fumes? :-)
Joe is an Abortion loving Liberal. That fact alone should preclude him from being granted Communion.
As for Obama, just typing his name makes me Ill.
Both Obama and Joe are Traitors as far as I’m concerned. The fact that Joe has suffered such tragedy in his life and continues to promote his brand of Political Evil only shows me he is lacking character.
I feel for his Loss, but he has not learned to be humble before God. He mocks the Creator every time he opens his mouth spewing his Liberal nonsense.
He has my Sympathy, but I have no respect for him. I wish him and his Family peace and understanding, but this is the same Man who told a crowd of Blacks that People like “us” want to keep them in Chains. Forgive, but never forget.
When the priest gave the instructions for communion he also said anyone who did not want communion but would like a blessing to come forward with hands folded- I saw many in the line receiving the blessing but they did not partake of the sacrament.
A spiritual communion used to be recommended for those not receiving. I don't understand the need to go up to the communion rail (oops!) and receive a blessing. The mass ends with one.
If not for the banal and unceasing music I'd recommend more time silently talking to God. No chance of that at these community theater liturgies.
