‘Tone-deaf’ Clinton campaign causes headaches for Roosevelt Island residents

Hillary Clinton’s campaign didn’t pick the best time to stage a major campaign rally at Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island later this month. According to the park’s website, a specially planned event for tots called Imagination Playground — which features unique blue building blocks — has been canceled to accommodate the Democratic front-runner for president. Also at risk of major inconvenience: an annual celebration called Roosevelt Island Day, which features a blood drive, hot dog stands and free rides for kids. “It’s going to be horrendous logistically,” said Sherie Helstien, vice president of the island’s community association, who noted that her community has just one main road.

It had prisons and insane asylums on it, the remnants which can still be seen. So, in a sense you’re right - perfect for Hillary. But it’s a small island and a little hard to get to since the tram was taken down - so I feel sorry for the residents (who have an amazing view of NYC).
Because she cares so much about middle America.

The events themselves can be rescheduled, but to blow past all consideration for the islanders and their authorities is typical-Hillary.

Yep, I had a debate last week about that with some liberals who were screaming that she is for the women, the kids and gays. I was like are you freakin’ kidding me? This woman doesn’t give one rats ass about ANYBODY but HERSELF! Please give me one freakin’ example that she gives one damn about women or kids or gays, where do they get this crap? Because SHE said she does? A sociopath who can’t hold a single solitary normal conversation without lying through her teeth? Who would stab her own mother in the back for a buck? It’s the media, it really is. The media pushes this garbage and they believe it. I pointed out when she was Senator she did absolutely nothing but go on a book tour! Hillary only cares about Hillary, nothing else! It’s idiots like that why this bitch could end up next POTUS and people think Obama is bad? She didn’t even give a damn when our own embassy was being attacked in Benghazi, 1st Ambassador killed in the line of duty in 35 YEARS which BTW would have never happened in the first place if this bitch just left Libya the way it was! Why the hell were we helping TERRORISTS overthrow a leader who was absolutely no threat to the United states? Unreal
Just like a battered wife wants to believe that her husband just has "bad moods," that he won't beat her if she can just "make him happy."
They want to believe. They don't want to think about how foolish and stupid they look. They don't want to believe that they've been conned and made to look like chumps. That's too painful.
So what? They all voted for her. They deserve what they get.
