Why hasn't any Congresscritter done this yet (Concerning the TPP) ~ Vanity

Why hasn't any congress critter there in Washington gone down with a gaggle of press in tow and actually demanded to be let into the room in the deep dark dungeon basement of Washington DC that the "super double dog top secret" Trans-Pacific Partnership full text is being housed and just DARE anyone to stop them.

Walk into the damned room, pick up the multiple pages of this text and even use a damned hand truck if it fills several xerox boxes.

Then walk the hell out of the room with the full text and release the full text to their constituents on the web within 48 hours.

The just dare that spineless coward Mitch McConnell or John Bohner to TRY to eject them from the House or Senate.

The fact this hasn't happened yet is one of the reasons I have lost all faith in the cess-pool that is Washington.

The sad reality is that our representatives no longer REPRESENT "we the people", they instead GOVERN, "we the masses"...

Because they’re ALL IN ON IT, and they’re all paid to be in on it.

Personal gain trumps ethics in politics. Once you get sucked into the DC political machine, it is all over as far as being a representative of the people is concerned.

If you don’t buy that argument, then consider this: why do politicians wage multi-million to billion dollar campaigns to get elected to an office that pays at most less than half a million a year?

As a normal citizen, would you spend a million dollars to land a job making about $40k a year?

Politicians are bought and paid for by the people who spend the most to get them elected.

And so who then would act on it is the question???? It’s not like some of them haven’t already known they could do this.... I don’t think any would as they’re all in on the program and agenda. Most we get is lip service..no action!

Who would act? Who knows? But, at least we’ve done our civic duty to propose and expose the question to them. Yeah, we’ll likely get more DC lip service ~ rather than action, but at least we’ve tried.

Why? Because they are all ‘in this’ together. They all want it, except for a few brave souls. Our own guys supporting Barry? Sure! Why not! Stick the word ‘Trade’ in a deal and all of the LoFo sheeple swoon and are fooled: ‘Oh look! Trade! Trade is good....right?....isn’t it?’ Trade? It has been read and leaks of it’s true contents have been leaked. This TPP thing does far more for America’s destruction than just about any other thing these bastard have trashed us with before. The 17th amendment was a major mistake. Senators should represent/be elected by the States, not the political whores who live to be re elected forever.
