He had been given the diary by a girlfriend as a way of assuaging the crisis into which he believed his life had spiraled. Interesting. First I’ve read that he had a PhD.

We’re always told that the Nazis were uncultured rubes from Bavaria. I guess admitting that they were frustrated academics and artists doesn’t fit the narative.

The biggest sales of this book will be to aspiring socialists in search of an instruction manual.

I guess admitting that they were frustrated academics and artists doesn’t fit the narative.

On the contrary, many psychopathic despots fit into the 'frustrated artist', 'frustrated academic' category. Hitler, Mao and Stalin were painters, poets and sketch artists respectively. Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi were frustrated poets.

His subject matter was batshit crazy. But you have to admit he would have found a home in Madison Avenue in any other modern era. Or on K Street.

Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi were frustrated poets.

Barky's a frustrated poet too, published a disturbing poem about a man-boy relationship.

It makes sense on many levels.

Friends of mine were in multilevel marketing, A doctor and an PhD. Made tons of money because people thought, well if these intelligent people say it is ok then ...

Other friends were double docs couple who became franchise owners. The franchising company dragged them out all the time to show how smart it is to work with them.

Sadly double doc didn’t have double business abilities and bellied up.
