Washington (CNN)Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee defended renting out his email list to a group selling hidden cures for cancer embedded in Bible verses, saying it was no different than CNN allowing advertisers for catheters or adult diapers to air alongside programming.
"My gosh, that's like saying, 'You run some ads on CNN. Do you personally agree with all the ads that run on CNN?' Huckabee said Wednesday to CNN's Jake Tapper on The Lead.
"I doubt you do. I'm sure there are some for maybe, I don't know, catheters or adult diapers. They're not products that you use or that you necessarily believe in," the 2016 Republican presidential candidate said. "I don't hold you responsible for that, and in that same way I don't think that people that understand how advertising works would hold me responsible for something that I didn't personally sign up for or endorse."
Huckabee, who won the Iowa caucuses during his first presidential bid in 2008, explained he couldn't dictate how people decided to use his large email list.
"I didn't actually control that part of our company," he said.

Good new (to me) information on this buffoon. If asked about the destruction emails perhaps he’ll answer “What difference, at this point, does it matter?”.
he seems antiquated, outdated and silly compared to Ted. But that’s just me.
Plus, agree with the statement or not, Ted Cruz would not make a “slave to their libido” statement, knowing it would get generous liberal press and harm our chances of taking the WH.

When Huckabee was governor of Arkansas, he granted 1,033 pardons and commutations. He issued more pardons and commutations than all of the six neighboring states combined. Those states include Texas, which has more than 8 times the population of Arkansas.
One of his parolees (Maurice Clemmons) went to Seattle and murdered 4 police officers while they were sitting at a coffee shop. Another one (serial rapist Wayne Dumond, who Hucabee released 25 years early) went to Missouri where he raped and murdered 2 women.
Huckabee also pardoned millionaire Rolling Stones’ guitarist Keith Richards, getting rid of a $162 reckless driving ticket after Huckabee met Richards at a concert. Who in their right mind would waste time on this? Someone who was drunk with power.
Huckabee cannot be trusted with the Presidency.
A bunch of simpletons here would vote for him because he goes to church...jackasses all.
