This is too funny, a dog owner has trained her dog to lower the level of noise when it barks.

We trained our dog to [sometimes] do that. He still gets excited and barks full volume, but if he remembers he just growls or barks softly.
Bark softly and carry a big fetch stick.
hehehehe!
woof.
What?
wooof.
What?
WooF.
what?
WOOOOOOF!!!!!!!!! WT# are you deaf!!! Stupid human.
Thats adogable!
So cute.
I once met a dog owner who had added the command “mellow”to her lab’s repertoire.
At “down”, the dog would lay down normally, remaining upright and attentive. When she gave the command “mellow”, though, the dog would flop over on her side with her legs splayed out. I had never seen anything quite like that.
A friend of mine did this 40 years ago.
I have taught our dog to do the same thing.
Make you laugh ping
Their breed goes straight back 4,000 yrs...
They 'come in' back with tan and this fox color in the video.
a few years ago, Nat Geo listed 100 breeds, from 1 -100, with 1 being the closest to wolves and on down.
No One? the Shiba
My boy
We taught our Aussie to do that.
How did you do this? Lately I’ve been having some trouble with my old dog getting hysterical and barking madly.
Bark softly and fetch a big stick.
We can make our dogs relax and they’ll nod off to sleep.
We’ve always had Weim rescues, and when we first get them and I see they’re relaxed, I’ve repeated a little poem to them and patted them while they were dozing off. After a few weeks of this “conditioning”...they’ll take the cue and fall asleep just at the reciting of the poem.
All I have to do is put them in a down...stay, and recite the poem. It’s hysterical. Immediately their eyes start to droop, and their heads nod, within minutes they’re asleep. It always entertains visitors. :)

That’s a sharp pup!
I was giving him a biscuit and went shhhhssh, and said woof real softly and he did it. So now when I say woof real softly he woofs softly.
