While I mostly agree with you, allowances should be made in statements for those people who's bodies developed in a way that ignored their chromosome system. The ones that become athletes get a hell of a surprise when they get testing before big competitions like the Olympics.
Some incredibly feminine women - yes, I'll call them that - have an X & Y chromosome, but in the womb they developed female characteristics. (There's even at least one that developed full ovaries!)

I have compassion for Jenner believe it or not, as I’ve said he seems like a decent guy who is very very sick. The compassionate thing is NOT to indulge his mental illness and tell him it’s normal. It is not normal for a man to want to have his penis mutilated and subject himself to ridicule by dressing up like a girl. Some people have “Body integrity identity disorder” where they desire to have one or more of their limbs cut off either because it feels like an alien appendage to them or they just really really want to be an amputee, doctors don’t indulge THAT. At least I sure hope they don’t.

It’s not like the guy was gonna do well in the primaries anyway but he just hung himself, he was the “social issues” guy. The gays hated him so much they use his name as a term for a vile product of homosexual sex.

Santorum never impressed me.
I remember back in 2005 Mark Levin playing him up as the next conservative POTUS candidate, then PA booted him in 2006 Senate election.
His attempt in 2011/2012 was a joke, even Newt was beating him out.
Nothing he says strikes me as insightful, inspiring or thoughtful.
From my understanding, after this “process” completes,

We criticize the left, but with geniuses like Dickie Santorum on “our” side, it’s almost hypocritical.
Actually, he did better than Gingrich. Won and placed better in more contests. At the time, freepers infuriatingly failed to take notice of this because Todd Palin endorsed Newt so gosh darn it they were for Newt and the fantasy narrative that he could master debate his way to beating Obama (he would have lost worse than Romney and cost us House seats).
But yes, Dickie’s campaign sucked (though not as bad as Newt’s, he destroyed himself and any chance he had by attacking Romney FROM THE LEFT on Bain Capital). He was overly fixated on being the moral issues guy and generally boring and flat. I voted for him by default because I loathe Gingrich and Ron Paul, who were the only other alternatives to Romney.
