Was just out for a walk with some of my boys here at work; one is a Braves fan, he was telling me that there is a guy playing on the Nationals, who the Braves are playing in a series currently, name of Dan Ugglah, I think that’s how you spell it, well anyway he plays on the Nats but the Braves still have him under contract for some strange reason; he made $78,000 for playing last night!
I swear if I was a billionaire I wouldn’t give a single cent to any pro sports team; they threaten to move if the taxpayers don’t build them new stadia, then jack the prices up on everything to astronomical levels, then lock the fans out a la Baltimordor.
I’m not a liberal so I wouldn’t make pro sports illegal just because I don’t like it, but I swear if I was dictator for a day some things would change!

That's nothing. The Angels are going to pay that junkie, Josh Hamilton, $80 million to play for the Rangers.

When the Braves signed Dan Uggla he was one of the best hitting second basemen in the game. He was dreck for three years in Atlanta hitting under 200 and striking out at a record setting pace. When the Braves cleared their roster in the off season they told Uggla to just go away even though they still had to pay him $13 million this season.

He drove in five runs against the Braves Tuesday. Too bad he couldn’t find that motivation the last three years. Infuriating.
