Mom smacks, drags son from Baltimore violence

One Baltimore mom took matters into her own hands Monday, furiously grabbing her would-be rioter son by the scruff of his neck and dragging him away from the violence. The jaw-dropping encounter captured by WMAR-TV showed a teen boy clad from head to toe in black, including a scarf over his face, and ready to rumble — until Mom stepped in. He had just thrown rocks, WMAR reported, when his mother jumped into action. She grabbed him in the back of his head and smacked the rock thrower several times in the face with her open right palm.

Kudos to the mom but, I gotta ask it.......where’s the dad?
I would bet that he had already been forewarned to stay home and out of trouble. I think that she showed great restraint. If that were my son, my arm would hurt from the beating he would have gotten.
Most likely one of the rioters as well.....
The government is the dad.
She even recognized her son with the kiddie ISIS-Ninja costume!
Same with me although I don’t have a son, but if I ever did something this when I was a teen my father would have come down on me like a tsunami. Grounded for 2 months easily. I mean come, attacking cops, vandalism, setting fires? I probably would have been ground for the next 50 years lol lol It just goes to show how many people out there do NOT take responsibility for their kids. There is no way in hell I would have been anywhere even near outside if this riot was going on, yet I seeing teens all over the place in these videos

It’s unfortunate, but a lot of women who grow up in the ghetto just assume that there won’t ever really be a “dad.” And they’re actually criticized in that society for expecting the father to stick around and be responsible.
I had a friend who worked in an educational program for pregnant teenagers. Two of the girls were actually pregnant by the same guy. He was 12 years older than they were, which in my opinion should have meant statutory rape, except that, thanks to Planned Parenthood, these things are never reported and never prosecuted.
In any case, one of the girls actually went after him in court for child support - and the other girls made her life miserable, because they said she was “turning on a brother” and betraying him. So there’s a lot of pressure on teenage girls in these dysfunctional environments, but sometimes they get smarter later.
Mom here may have gotten off to a rocky start herself, but she clearly knows what’s right and what’s wrong, and she’s trying to do the best she can.
Probably in prison or dead.
They are a Matriarchal society...
Just a SWAG here but I'm thinking either making "deposits" elsewhere or in a prison jumpsuit.

I guess this kid just lost his “street cred” and will have to go live in another hood to get it back.
