Senator Marco Rubio has been criticized by many Tea Party activists for his stance on illegal immigration, but that doesn’t seem to hold him back in the polls. Look at these results from CNN’s latest poll among Republican voters:
"Overall, 17% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents back Bush for the GOP nomination, while 12% support Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker. Paul and Rubio stand at 11% each, with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee at 9% and Cruz at 7%…"
Remarkable: Bush and Rubio both poll at 18% when respondents are asked which candidate best represents the future of the Republican Party. In Florida, his home state and one of the states the Republican nominee will have to win, Rubio even beats Hillary, which is in no small part due to his popularity among Hispanic voters...

Um, no
According to CNN, Obama would be safe running for a third term.
Rubio is a lying traitor to the citizens.
He lied about amnesty to get elected.
He lied about what was in his Gang’s bill when he schemed with Schumer against the citizens.
He’s lying now about what he would do if he got elected.
In English, anyway.
I don’t speak Spanish, so I don’t know what he’s telling the fraudulently documented foreigners.
He’s going to challenge Hillary! for the Democrat nomination?
Rubio is apparently Romney’s pick in 2016. If true, that’s all you need to know about him.
Rubio was hated by the establishment until they realized they have their solution to identity politics. Then they are all on board. So shallow.
I was an early Rubio fan. Down on him now, but not as much as many here. I still am excited about his future. I just don’t think it’s running for president this cycle. He’s shown me little that he’s ready for the job or the campaign. His immigration folly was a huge negative not only for crappy policy, but his performance trying to sell it. I was really shocked how bad he was. Terrible....like Rick Perry 2012 debate terrible in performance. He’s simply not ready. Walker or Cruz are tested and prepared.
What future? He’s giving up his Senate seat to be a blocker for the Establishment to make sure we don’t elect someone who will stop the cheap labor importation/invasion.
I’m sure he has a cushy job lined up for him, but his political career is over.

So both Rubio and Bush poll at 18% in Florida. in Florida...
I think that’s a bad thing. That means that 64% of Republicans in Florida want someone other than their two homies.
I wondered the same thing about him giving up his Senate seat. I have heard he might run for governor.
If he’s not on the ticket, I would imagine he’d consider governor as a stepping stone. Not sure, but that’s a traditional route.
I don’t think he’s a blocker. I think it’s more likely he’s their chosen one...either as a back up for Bush, or they are using Bush as a decoy for Rubio. Leaning towards the latter at this point.
Plus, if Walker or another governor win the primary, Rubio would be an excellent VP choice. One I would be fine with, too. I like 85% of Rubio’s positions...at least. He’s got a lot to bring to the table. His immigration crap is a huge knock, and he just doesn’t seem ready for this level, in my opinion.
“Republican leaning independents†is code for Democrats trying to influence Republican elections and are only added to skew the results. Bush is toast. Rubio may have just cost himself the race with his Spanish interview on Univision where we proceeded to double down on his “gang of 8†policies. Huckabee is a non-funny joke. Carson doesn’t understand the 2nd amendment. Paul likes the constitution as long as it doesn’t interfere with his libertarian philosophy. Walkers lack of decisive action to stop the political witch hunts against conservatives in Wisconsin is troublesome. Really the only two guys in the race I can unreservedly support is Cruz and Bolton.
I don’t vote for amnesty candidates. If he’s on the ticket, the GOP does not get my vote. I voted for Bob Barr instead of McCain because he was the author of the previous TWO amnesty attempts before 2008. I did hold my nose for Romney because he was at least saying the right things (even though I did not really believe him)
Rubio is just a glib, baby faced showpiece. He will move in the breeze to get elected. His religous flip flopping, his duplicitous flopping on amnesty, his willingness to kiss the b-—s of the gang of 8 show us just another opportunist. Think him a corporatist rather than a conservative.
