If he’s not on the ticket, I would imagine he’d consider governor as a stepping stone. Not sure, but that’s a traditional route.
I don’t think he’s a blocker. I think it’s more likely he’s their chosen one...either as a back up for Bush, or they are using Bush as a decoy for Rubio. Leaning towards the latter at this point.
Plus, if Walker or another governor win the primary, Rubio would be an excellent VP choice. One I would be fine with, too. I like 85% of Rubio’s positions...at least. He’s got a lot to bring to the table. His immigration crap is a huge knock, and he just doesn’t seem ready for this level, in my opinion.
I don’t vote for amnesty candidates. If he’s on the ticket, the GOP does not get my vote. I voted for Bob Barr instead of McCain because he was the author of the previous TWO amnesty attempts before 2008. I did hold my nose for Romney because he was at least saying the right things (even though I did not really believe him)
