Two organizers were threatened at gunpoint
Only two?
The good citizens of South Carolina are very polite.

Bravo South Carolina!
I don’t know how much this has to do with Governor Haley or simply the SC culture, but these sound like my kind of people.
Now, where’s that number for United Van Lines...?

As I understand it (from a thread posted yesterday) they were “threatened at gun point” during the course of their “program of home visits.”

If I was an all ready well-paid aerospace worker and these union thugs were proposing something that may negatively affect my employer, I’d show them my gun collection too, and escort them out the door.

Two organizers were threatened at gunpoint during home visits to gauge support and urge votes for unionization, and others reported near-violent confrontations, it said
*SNORT*
Suddenly, violent behavior by workers doesn't look all that good to union organizers, does it?
To: DUMBGRUNT
The union organizers have not yet figured out what it means when a southerner says, “Well bless your heart.”

Union organizer on porch = resident feared for life. Lucky there weren’t some new union martyrs.

if you have pushy people coming to your own home where your spouse and children are, what are you supposed to do when they refuse to leave?...
and I'll bet the whole "threatened at gunpoint" is way, way beyond embellishment...

“The union said its organizers encountered a toxic environment in South Carolina.”
I don’t doubt that, but they can hardly blame that on Boeing, now can they? South Carolinians are still quite familiar with what unionization did to the textile industry there a few decades ago, namely sent the entire industry packing to China.
“Two organizers were threatened at gunpoint during home visits to gauge support and urge votes for unionization, and others reported near-violent confrontations, it said.”
I reckon the union gauged those folks as belonging in the “no support” column, huh?
