Two videos uploaded to the Internet purportedly reveal Russia’s first truly new infantry fighting vehicles in decades and a new self-propelled howitzer.

One of the videos even shows intriguing closeups of what’s probably Russia’s new Armata tank. If the videos are authentic, it’s a sign that the Kremlin’s long-delayed rearmament plans are making progress.

Looks like the West will get a look at Russia's new armored vehicles at the VE Parade.

In the second pic—is that an old IS-122 in the background? If so, that thing is 70 plus years old.

I think it is a SU-100 because is uses the T-34 chassis with the Christie Suspension road wheels. The IS models had return rollers.

You’re right...it is an SU body. I should have caught that instead of saying an IS. My coffee hasn’t kicked in yet. lol

I’m really surprised they’ve still got that old stuff in service. But then again, we’re still using B 52s.

SU-100s will probably live forever, in some capacity. Wouldn’t take much to make a Jagdpanzer Rakete out of it with an armored box launcher with Kornets or something.

That’s exactly what I was thinking! Looks like they’ve been pretty well kept too.
