I suspect this will fall as soon as its tested. The michigan courts have repeatedly ruled that cities can't make their own anti gun ordinances. In this case, liberals are declaring that the cause of their irrational fear is a disturbance.

A lot of States have superiority laws that keep crap like this from happening. Usually to keep cities, counties and municipalities from abridging the rights of their citizens.
I see a school, district or board as nothing more than a governmental entity whose ability to establish and enforce rules is ruled by the same restriction.
If I were governor of that state, I’d be investigating how I could remove the school board, frankly.

Public school officials need to be in prison for the policies they keep making.

“If anyone but a law enforcement official carries a gun into an Ann Arbor school, administrators will ask the person to leave and call the police.”
Yeah, that’ll work.
Parents: take your kids out of school until this is repealed.

Nothing quite like openly declaring your school is a target rich environment with no chance of counter attack.
I’d not send my kids there. That place is a death trap!

All my guns have the same “old policies” they have always had.

Are they also banning baseball bats? Bats can be used as deadly weapons too!

I'd challenge them to prove the effectiveness of this policy against a real shooter with deadly intent.

And, if the one with the gun(s) is a bad guy(s), there will be much carnage while the one who tells them to get out tries to call the cops. The only person to be apprehended without killing someone is going to be one of the law-abiding citizens who would rather protect the kids than kill them.
Some of the Left sounds almost like those on our side who will call for "anyone but Romney" or "anyone but "Walker" and never seem to say "anyone but Obama" or "anyone but Hillary". The "rationalizations" are just as twisted, no matter the topic.

Where’s that cartoon of the two heavily armed bad guys stopped by a “No Guns” sign on the door? One is saying to the other “What do we do now?”.

"I told everyone I thought they should be aware that while they were at the concert watching their kids that there was someone with a firearm and ammunition and maybe we want to think about that," DiBlassio said.
"I walked past them into the concert and saw the director point out the individual. Police escorted him to the lobby and talked to him there. As he walked past me I saw the gun and ammunition."
Huh? did the guy have a couple extra rounds duck-taped to his chest? How did they see the ammunition?
Technically (though not legally) a firearm without ammunition is just a club.
