A single source article written by a journalist who has never had anything positive to say about Apple based on a screed from a blogger, supposedly written by an ex-Apple employee castigating the horrors of working in the slave driven iCult Apple headquarters. "Is it a coincidence that the new Apple Campus looks like a giant spaceship?" (Ben) Farrell wrote. I read his whole screed. He sounds like a whiner who doesn’t belong in a corporation. He was a police officer, so he had no experience with corporate cultures and the demands of working in a leading public company. I’ve experienced everything he has in a 40 year career and there are no surprises there.
If you like that type of work environment and are well compensated, then stay and prosper. If that culture isn’t for you, then simply move on (or back to law enforcement where you seem to belong). But writing such a piece is childish and pointless — and it makes you look dumb and churlish.
I would agree with his boss who told him it is time to put on your big boy pants.
After seeing CEO Cook toss his Nazi temper fit at Indiana, I am not surprised. Apple sounds like the cult of Scientology.
