If they make it, I'm sure the sudden reawakening of Menendez's legal woes had something to do with it. Everybody knows he skirted the law a bit and could live with it, but I think some are po'ed that Obama did it in such a crappy manner.

Yep. The Republicrats will be responsible for the coming nuclear war, but they're not too concerned about it. They have have deep underground bunkers paid for by their victims where they and their families can survive it.

The nuke deal has created another “collision course”, and that one involves the new Arab coalition plus Israel, not believing Obama’s words for a minute, that has rushed into the void to oppose Iran.

Exactly. This is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. By even holding a vote on this, they are implicitly giving away their power which is explicit in the Constitution.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
First of all, this has nothing to do with the “Congress”. Approval or disapproval of this arrangement is the exclusive responsibility of the Senate.
Why?
Because the Senate, as designed, is an Assembly of the States (not the People, that’s the OTHER House), and treaties with foreign powers implicate the sovereignty of each State and, as such, are invalid without ratification.
This rush to pass unnecessary legislation is unseemly. You can’t offer the Senate’s power to advise and to consent to the President for a veto.
Worth it?
Maybe not.
The way “O” treats the WH, it’s looking like the difference between a king and a US President is a wash.
Obama is pushing as hard as he can to start WW111. It is the solution all Muslims want. Apocalypse is the start of their new world, one in which they run everything.
Or the leftist elitists are using the muslims to facilitate WW3, to create the circumstances that the US is depopulated down to a level that martial law eliminates the Constitution, allowing for totalitarian control.
Either way it does not bode well for this country.
