When retired priest Neil Richardson, 69, moved to Braintree, Essex he was constantly greeted by complete strangers who insisted on calling him John.
Baffled by their persistence, Mr Richardson thought nothing of it until some time later the reason for the confusion became apparent.
John Jemison, 74, a retired headteacher is the spitting image of Mr Richardson and lives just miles away.
When the doppelgangers finally bumped into each other, they even discovered that they has attended the same college and had both worked as religious knowledge teachers.

They have to be related somehow. Twins or parallel genetics. Many true siblings don’t look that much alike.
:)

Who does Number 2 work for?
Lol!

Really amazing!

This happened to me about 15 years ago. People kept calling me “Milan” and were amazed to learn that I wasn’t “Milan.” So I got his number, called him up, and invited him to lunch. It really was funny how he looked just like me. The waitress thought we were brothers. He was a Serb expatriate, by the way. I’m of purest Irish ancestry, so there was no apparent genetic relatedness (the Irish are all related if you go back about seven generations). He was a good guy, too.
That’s a great story!
One day I was exercising at the gym and saw two men who were talking to each other, and - tho they were easily as similar in appearance as the two in the photo, they insisted that they werent related at all.
“they insisted that they werent related at all.”
as far as they knew..at any rate...
