I would eat there just to say I did. That’s a tough industry.

Nothing to lose your head over.

I like him...think he’s a really good actor who, gets typecast as a villain all the time...
I wish him well in this endeavor.

"Formally a Taco Bell,..." Don't they mean "formerly" a Taco Bell? Sheesh.

It’s funny. L.A. has a very vibrant restaurant scene, especially Mexican. One wonders if this one will show up on the radar.

I hear that those who know him personally say that he is really a nice fellow. It’s not his fault that the majority of roles he is hired to play paint him as the bad fellow.

When you live in LA you learn to be entertained by the ways that English gets mangled.

Most taco places don’t have a popular actor running it. If he can capitalize on that, provide a good product for a good price and have a clean and fun atmosphere, he can set himself apart. Some LA taco shops are WILDLY popular and successful.

It’s entirely his fault - he’s a character actor and pursues those roles. He makes a fortune playing bad guys.
To: fidelis
OK, but LA’s actors are a dime a dozen. Most people don’t care.
The best Mexican food are street vendors, working carts in the inner city ... East LA mostly. Getting busted by the cops almost nightly. :o)

Good for him. I’ve always liked him as an actor.
To: Utilizer
I got to shake his hand and chat with him at an event that he appeared at at Camp Pendleton back in ‘01 or ‘02. He comes across as a really friendly down to earth type of guy. He is really short though, I expected a much bigger guy.

Movies would be boring if they didn’t have bad guys.

I met him in Austin. He is a little guy, at least compared to me. Nice and very refined. A real gentleman.
